Visited & performed in International Day at WCLA, NYC yesterday. All children are wonderful! I loved their singing, poem etc. Purity is one of the most beautiful element. It had been kind of long time to visit any school, I had a great time.
昨日、マンハッタンにあるWCLＡのインターナショナルデイのイベントで、演奏をしてきました。子供たちの無邪気さと、素晴らしい歌や詩に感動。純粋であることって、やはりいいですね。学校でのパフォーマンスは久しぶりでしたが、良いひとときでした。
Stayed 1 day in NYC (came back from Houston) today just got in St Louis for Bella Gaia show. I’ve been here since last Oct when I did Koto Concerto Genji. Nice to seeing St Louis again!
ヒューストンからNYに一日戻った後、今日セントルイスにベラガイアのショーのため到着しました。セントルイスに来るのは、去年１０月に箏コンチェルト源氏のために来て以来、以外とすぐに戻ってきた感じです。ハローセントルイス！
Just came back from Houston today. Stayed there for 2 weeks for Opera The memory stone at Houston grand Opera, it was an amazing experience and a great team. Thank you all.
先ほど、ヒューストンから戻りました。オペラ、メモリーストーンの公演のため２週間滞在していましたが、素晴らしい経験とチームでした。みんな、ありがとうございました。

It’s been a while to update this blog. Came back in NYC yesterday and had a performance at Grand Central today. I had a wonderful wonderful time in Japan and successful tour. After tour I donated $3000 to Morioka city to support people who moved from ocean side cause Tsunami and have been in difficult situation. Thank you for all who came to my shows and supported me. I will upload more photos soon!
昨日NYに戻り、今日はグランドセントラルで演奏してきました。今回の日本ツアーはお蔭さまで大成功、そして素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。ツアー終了後、盛岡市長に今回のツアーの収益金のうち、30万円を寄付させて頂きました。盛岡に移住されている被災者の多くが生活困窮ということで、こちらに直接お渡し頂くことにしました。ご来場くださった皆様、そしてサポートしてくださった皆様に心から感謝です。このツアーの写真は後日アップします。
Just done a concert at the Yale University last night with Ben Verdery on Guitar. It was fun to be there and beautiful concert hall. Now I’m packing again for Texas tour, hoping I can sleep a little tonight. I will head to Japan right after come back from Texas. Make a wish!
昨夜は、エール大学でギターのベンとコンサート。楽しいひととき、そしてとても素敵なコンサートホールでした。今は、明日からのテキサスツアーの荷物パッキングなどなど。少しでも今夜寝たいです。テキサスから戻ったら本当にすぐさま日本へ向うフライト。全てうまく行きますように。
Done Bella Gaia show in Ohio last week. The most thing was that we’d been stuck at the LGA & Philly airport about 15 hours total due to weather condition. Chatting, singing, eating, drinking all day at the airport is now good memory.
先週、ベラガイアでオハイオへ。一番の出来事は、霧がひどいため、結局、NYとフィラデルフィアの空港にトータルで１５時間過ごしたことでした。おしゃべりしたり、歌ったり、食べたり、飲んだり、今となっては良い思い出です。
Bella Gaia in Chicago, went to DC afterwards to play Koto Concerto Genji went very well and glad I made it. This time my concerning was that I needed 2 different Kinds of Koto within 2 days and 2 different cities. Thanks for everyone who helped me you guys saved my life:) It was very busy and tough but I feel good. Also right after playing Genji I left DC to get back to NYC. It’s time to change strings the specialist arrived.
シカゴでのベラガイア、そしてすぐにDCへ飛んで、箏コンチェルト源氏、全てうまくいきました！よかった。今回の懸念は、楽器。。違う都市で、２日続けて、違うタイプの楽器が必要だったのです。助けてくれた方々に感謝です！一人では無理でした。そして、DCが終わったらまたNYへ向けて即出発。絃を張り替える時期がやってきました。スペシャリストの到着です。

Had a wonderful time in St. Louis. Played Koto Concerto Genji by Daron Hagen and received standing ovation. I guess I’ve been playing this concerto 6 times?? so far everytime I’ve leaned something and this time too. Very interesting. Happy Holidays!
セントルイスで良い時間を過ごすことが出来ました。コンチェルトの源氏もスタンディングオーベイションを頂き、嬉しかったです。多分、この箏コンチェルトを演奏するのは今回で６回目だったかな？毎回、作品について、演奏について新しい発見があります。おもしろいですね〜。素敵なホリデイシーズンをお過ごしください。
